ROY HUDD Born: 16 May 1936 Roy Hudd, mainly a radio comic, is a well-known British comedian. For television he has appeared in Lipstick on Your Collar as Dennis, has played Archie Shuttleworth in long-running soap opera Coronation Street and is due to appear in New Tricks alongside James Bolam, and also in Casualty. On radio, Roy has presented and been the subject of many shows. He has presented his own comedy show, News Huddlines, from 1975 until 2001.
