RUSS ABBOT BORN (as Russell Roberts): 18 September 1947 in Cheshire, England
Russ Abbot is well-known for his sketch shows, including the popular Madhouse , with Sherrie Hewson and Lisa Maxwell. He is probably best known for his roles as Basildon Bond (a James Bond spoof) and Jim in Jim'll Jinx It. More recently, he was in eleven episodes of the long-running sitcom Last of the Summer Wine, mainly seen alongside Pink Panther star Burt Kwouk and Brian Murphy, of Man about the House and George & Mildred fame. In the last couple of episodes, Howard Sibshaw (Bob Fyfe) joined his group.
